General Position Description:
This position supports the Dean in the enhancement of teaching practices and curriculum, analyzes learning outcomes results and student success data, and addresses faculty and student-related concerns. Serves as a member of the School's academic leadership team, partnering with the Dean to provide discipline-specific onboarding, observe performance, deliver feedback, and support professional growth for full-time faculty. Collaborates on full-time faculty hiring, course assignments, and programmatic goals, ensuring alignment with the college's strategic plan. Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and engages with industry and/or transfer partners to foster student success.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Serves as a member of the Schools academic leadership team.
2. Provides leadership for full-time faculty professional growth and success but does not provide direct oversight.
3. Supports full-time faculty in developing their teaching practices, collaborating across disciplines to enhance instructional effectiveness; utilizes constructive feedback as a key development tool.
4. Observes full-time faculty, reviews course success data, and partners with leadership to develop faculty learning plans; delivers constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness.
5. Analyzes full-time faculty learning outcomes results and success data; collaborates with leadership on setting improvement goals.
6. Collaborates with faculty on selection and adoption of instructional materials, curriculum improvements, and pedagogy.
7. Partners with faculty and leadership across disciplines to enhance instructional and programmatic success.
8. Collaborates with leadership on full-time faculty course assignment based on enrollment trends and targets, ensuring alignment with the colleges strategic enrollment management plan.
9. Participates in the hiring process and provides discipline-specific onboarding for full-time faculty.
10. Supports full-time faculty in maintaining programmatic and accreditation compliance.
11. Serves as a point of contact for discipline-specific issues at assigned locations and addresses student concerns. Supports leadership in the resolution of student-related concerns in alignment with institutional policies.
12. At the direction of the leadership and in alignment with the colleges strategy, engages in discussions with industry and/or transfer partners to support program review, curriculum alignment with transfer partners, and student success upon graduation and/or transfer.
13. May supervise and/or lead support staff.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Minimum Education:
Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.

Other Required Qualifications:
Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education leadership or academic administration or related experience based on the essential job functions.

Required License/Certification:
Registered Nurse License (RN)

Experience analyzing student success data and implementing improvement strategies; supporting faculty onboarding and professional development; building industry partnerships and collaborating with transfer institutions; designing curriculum aligned with accreditation standards; and leading or coordinating interdisciplinary teams.

General Working Conditions:
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will routinely operate standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Typical physical competencies include but are not limited to frequently remaining stationary, moving, reaching, positioning self and occasionally ascending/descending, lifting/moving objects weighing between 5-15 pounds. This job also entails frequently communicating, discerning and exchanging information, detecting and perceiving objects up close, at a distance, and the ability to adjust focus.
